WHAT IS AERIAL VEGETATION MANAGEMENT?

Aerial VM is a passion project between friends interested in how technology can be used to help restore our land. Noxious weeds can be a huge headache and an even bigger job that takes a lot of time and money to tackle. Jason, Garth, and Jenna have combined their interests of the outdoors, drones, and a love for solving problems using technology, to create an easier solution, Aerial VM.   • Jason Suess

    FOUNDER • SOFTWARE ENGINEER

    WSDA CERTIFIED APPLICATOR

    Raised in Hayden Lake, Idaho and a graduate of the University of Idaho with a degree in Computer Science. Jason worked at Microsoft for 23 years as a developer, product manager, and evangelist. During that time, he worked on several exciting projects at the cutting edge of software development including databases, video streaming, and data analytics.

  • Garth Bruce

    FOUNDER • DRONE TECH

    PART 107 • WSDA CERTIFIED APPLICATOR

    Originally from Dillon, Montana and a graduate of MSU with a degree in Computer Science, Garth started his career with jobs at Boeing and Microsoft. After departing the corporate world, he started one of the first drone services companies in the state of Washington in 2016.

    As a pioneer in the commercial use of drones, Garth has made several contributions to push the industry forward. He is a FAAS Team UAS representative and works closely with the local drone community to promote safety and education.

  • Jenna Phillips

    FOUNDER • MARKETING STRATEGIST

    PART 107 • WSDA CERTIFIED APPLICATOR

    Born and raised in Dayton, Washington and graduated from University of Washington with a Bachelors degree of Science in Information Technology. Small business owner of photography and video production company, Digital Expressions.

    Jenna started flying drones in 2020 and has since done a variety of work from real estate to film making. She loves how drones can provide a completely new perspective through art, agriculture, and even rescuing people in the back country.
